While enrolling device, as a part of the setup process you will have to connect a device to particular WiFi and proceed. However, as a part of your organization process if you want to restrict the device from connecting to specific WiFi, follow below steps,
- Go to the desired policy
- Select “Networking”
- Notice “Add Wi-Fi network” option and click on it
- Notice the form asking for details, provide valid inputs under,
- NAME
- GUID (Auto created)
- SSID
- Security (drop-down selection)
- Password
- Enable Auto Connect option and
- Hit ADD button
- Now save the policy and once the device sync up with WeGuard, the device connects to given WiFi (if in range)
- Furthermore, you can also restrict the users from configuring to other WiFi networks manually on the device by enabling “WiFi Config Disabled” as shown in the picture below by enabling the WiFi Config Disabled setting
