This knowledge base article explains policy summary view and how it is helpful.
Policy summary view is introduced in 4.9.2 release. This feature enables console administrator to view the policy quickly and make changes without getting into details. However, not all restrictions can be updated in summary view. Few restrictions related to branding, password, network, security can be updated in detailed view only. Let's see how it works in detail.
- Login to AMGuard console with your credentials.
- Go to Policy page by clicking on Policy Groups in left menu.
- You will see list of policies for your account. Note that for the first time you will see only default policies. You can create new policies and customize according to your business requirements.
- Notice policy summary view icon under actions column. Highlighted in below picture.
- Clicking on policy summary view will open up a window to view & update restrictions.
- Further you can proceed to filter for a specific restriction and update. Once modified, click on save to reflect the change/s on device.
- Notice policy version increment on updating and saving the policy in summary view.
- You can go into policy details by clicking on edit icon as highlighted in below picture.
