In this article, we will explain how to enable auto upgradation of play store apps.
- Login to AMGuard console
- Go to Policy Groups from left menu
- Notice list of policy groups. Go to any policy details by clicking on policy name.
- In policy details, go to Policy tab. The assumption is you have already added applications from play store. When you add applications from play store, you will see something like below.
- Notice "Update types" option on top. By default "Enable Auto Update" is selected. Which means, whenever new version of added apps are available, they get updated automatically.
Let's go through other options available in the list.
User Choice : User consent is required to upgrade the app.
Disable Auto Update : Apps will not be upgraded when new version is available.
Wi-Fi Only : Apps will be upgraded only when they are to Wi-Fi
- Once value is updated based on your preference, save the policy to get it reflected on the devices.
