With "Kiosk Screen Password" enabled, devices will be auto locked after configured time and to unlock user will have to enter the they set.
In this article we will guide you through "Kiosk Screen Password" enablement.
- Login to AMGuard® console
- Click on "Policy Groups" from left menu
- Select any Kiosk policy and click on it to go further into policy
- Scroll down to "Security" and notice "Kiosk Screen Password"
- By default the policy is disabled. To setup password enable the option & click on "SAVE AND CONTINUE"
- Now on the device, user will be asked to setup a password or pin of their choice with a default lock time to 2min.
- After setting the password and lock time, to save the details click on "SAVE"
- Post that if the device is idle for set lock time, device screen will be auto locked.
To access the apps & data user will have to enter the password or pin.
