In addition to "Message Speak out" functionality, AMTalk now has capability to translate incoming and outgoing messages to preferred language. This article explains the procedure to the enable the option for "Message Translation"
- Assuming you have a device that is provisioned to Enterprise account.
- Notice AMCloud and AMTalk pro apps.
- Click on AMTalk application. For the first time you will have to enable permission to receive notifications.
- For the first time, you wont see any messages because none have been sent to the device yet.
- By default message translate functionality is disabled and speak out functionality is enabled and the language is set to default text-to-speech language.
- To view default settings, go to AMTalk settings by clicking on the setting button
- Notice "Thread translation" option. Enable it by tapping on toggle button.
- To select the language, tap on "Language" option and select preferred language.
- After updating the settings, any incoming or outgoing message would be read of loudly in preferred language and also the message in AMTalk application would show up in selected language.
- Reply or message sent from device to OPS will also be translated into preferred language
- Speaker : Clicking on the button will read out the message loudly
- Translate : Shows the message in default language i.e. English
- Language : Shows language and country
- At any point in time, user can turn off message translation feature from settings. Once the option is turned off, all previous messages will be shown in default language.
